Georgina Village Museum

Georgina Village Museum gives couples the chance to begin married life somewhere surrounded by the stories of people who came before them.

The historic museum grounds feel completely different from a conventional banquet hall. Couples planning an intimate ceremony can use the 1889 Free Methodist Church, where approximately 60 people can gather inside the small historic building for the vows.

For a larger outdoor ceremony, the Jackson’s Point Bandstand and surrounding park can accommodate approximately 150 to 200 people, allowing the wedding to unfold among open grounds and heritage buildings.

The wider museum property also becomes a wonderful setting for photographs. Old architecture, green spaces and the quiet character of the village give couples backgrounds that feel rooted in Georgina rather than interchangeable with any other venue.

There is something particularly lovely about walking into a building that has already stood through generations of lives and celebrations, then adding one more story to it.
