Seven acres of paths, meadows and traditional English-style gardens set the tone at Gardens & Gatherings, where a wedding can move from one beautiful corner to the next as the day unfolds.
The venue is on Bowmanton Road in Roseneath, Ontario, and hosts weddings, private celebrations and special events from May through October.
One of its most memorable features is the pond, where a 20-foot waterfall cascades into a koi pond with water lilies, framed by gardens and willow trees. The courtyard and orchard add further places for photographs.
Ceremonies take place on site, with each package including exclusive use of all the gardens and ceremony sites.
Receptions are held in a 40 by 80 foot clearspan marquee that accommodates approximately 175 guests, with room for a dance floor, live entertainment and a buffet. String lighting, chandeliers, tables and white padded chairs are part of the setting.
Three packages suit different guest lists: an Intimate package for up to 20 guests, a Classic package for up to 75 and a Grand package for up to 175.
Every package includes a licensed bar with certified bartenders, a bride's cottage for wedding party preparations, a dedicated coordinator and venue assistant, and full use of the venue's décor collection for the ceremony and reception.
The venue shares a list of recommended caterers, photographers, officiants and other local vendors to help with planning.
