On the shore of Lake Ontario, Gairloch Gardens is a Town of Oakville park with picturesque views of the lake and extensive gardens that include a rose garden.
Within the park, Oakville Galleries' Studio is available for private rentals year-round. The gallery describes it as a quaint, charming private space with wonderful views of the park and the waterfront, suited to gatherings and celebrations.
The Studio can accommodate a maximum of 50 people, making it a setting for an intimate celebration, a rehearsal dinner or a small gathering with the people who matter most.
Rentals include access to the Studio along with 7 rectangular tables, 57 chairs, a podium and easels, Wi-Fi, heating, cooling and ceiling fans, two single-use restrooms and a cloakroom. Couples are welcome to bring additional decor, with some restrictions.
Food can come from any caterer or be prepared off-site. Because of the Studio's all-wood interior, there is no on-site cooking or open heat. Alcohol can be served with a Special Occasion Permit and appropriate insurance.
All events take place inside the Studio, as the surrounding grounds are public and managed by the Town of Oakville. The Town does offer permits for wedding photography in Gairloch Gardens, so the gardens can still be part of the day's pictures.
The Studio has step-free entry, and there are three parking spaces beside it, including one accessible space, along with a nearby public lot.
For couples who want a small, quiet celebration in a lakeside garden setting, the Studio at Gairloch Gardens offers a private room surrounded by some of Oakville's loveliest scenery.
