Fintry Estate

At Fintry Estate, couples say their vows among the trees of a historic lakeside estate on the west shore of Okanagan Lake.

The estate sits within Fintry Provincial Park, halfway between Kelowna and Vernon, and is cared for by the Friends of Fintry society.

Its heritage buildings tell the story of James Dun-Waters, whose manor house and distinctive octagonal barn still stand on the grounds alongside a labyrinth and walking tour.

Fintry is a ceremony venue: the rental covers an intimate outdoor ceremony nestled in the trees, with time for setup, takedown and photos. Receptions are held elsewhere.

A wedding arch dressed in tulle is available on request, a rehearsal time is arranged at booking, and a piper can be added to lead the way.

The historic buildings and park setting also make Fintry a favourite spot for wedding photos on their own.

For couples who picture a short, meaningful ceremony beneath the trees of a storied Okanagan estate, Fintry Estate offers a wedding with old world dignity and lakeside calm.
