Famee Furlane

Some places carry a culture with them. At Famee Furlane of Hamilton, that culture is Friulian, from the northeastern corner of Italy, and hospitality is at its heart.

Also known as the Friuligardens Italian Club, Famee Furlane is a non-profit social and cultural centre in Binbrook, about a 10-minute drive southeast of Hamilton. The property sits in the countryside across 41 acres of open greens, parkland and forest.

Inside, the main banquet hall is tastefully decorated and can hold up to approximately 275 guests. It can be dressed for weddings and celebrations of all kinds, year-round.

Outside, the grounds offer patios with a gazebo, giving guests a place to gather in the fresh air and couples a lovely setting for photographs.

Food is a point of pride. An in-house Italian caterer customizes the menu for each occasion, and many dishes are prepared homemade style in the traditional Italian way.

There is ample free paved parking on the property, and the club also has four indoor bocce courts and an outdoor field, adding to the sense of a place built for community and celebration.
