At Érablière Au Palais Sucré, a wedding takes over a sugar shack in Mont-Saint-Grégoire, with a lawn for the ceremony and a big hall ready for dancing.

This sugar bush on Montréal's South Shore rents its hall and grounds for weddings, with the freedom to shape the day just as the couple wishes.

An outdoor lawn is set aside for ceremonies, and the reception moves inside to air conditioned rooms with a dance floor and sound system.

The front room hosts up to 80 guests and the full hall up to 350, and the two combined can welcome 500.

Couples can choose the sugar shack menu, an outside caterer, a food truck or a spit roast, and the venue holds its own alcohol permit with several bar formulas. Tables, a head table, white linens and chair covers are included.

For couples who picture a big, joyful party with maple country charm, Érablière Au Palais Sucré offers a flexible wedding made to their own measure.
