Some of the best wedding meals are the ones that were growing in the garden that morning.

Endswell Farm is a private wedding and events venue on Bowen Island, just minutes from Vancouver and about a five-minute drive from the ferry terminal at Snug Cove, with a market garden at the heart of the property.

Celebrations centre on a long-table dinner set among the farm's gardens, featuring seasonal produce grown steps away and prepared in an outdoor kitchen.

The farm hosts everything from intimate micro weddings to celebrations of up to 150 guests.

Accommodation is part of the experience. The newly renovated historic 1909 five-bedroom guesthouse can host the couple and those closest to them, giving guests a place to stay overnight on Bowen Island.

For couples who picture a farm-to-table feast in a garden setting with an island getaway feel, Endswell Farm offers a celebration that tastes as good as it looks.
