Elle by Stella Wedding Villa & Gardens feels as though it was designed around all the parts of a wedding people wish would slow down.

Just outside downtown St. Jacobs, the villa sits on four acres beside the Conestogo River, surrounded by mature trees and gardens that change their personality with the seasons. Spring brings tulips and lilacs, summer fills the property with hydrangeas and autumn turns the surrounding tree line into part of the colour palette.

Couples can move through the property naturally from getting ready and first-look photographs into the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Outdoors, a gazebo, water feature and landscaped gardens create several different settings without anyone needing to leave the venue.

Inside, the Wisteria Room brings fourteen-foot ceilings, abundant natural light and soft whitewashed details to the reception. Food is handled exclusively by Gilt Catering, while the Stella team manages coordination and the flow of the day.

That combination allows the entire celebration to feel connected. There is no sense of finishing one part of the wedding and starting over somewhere else.
