Elgin County Railway Museum

Few wedding backdrops are as unforgettable as a massive steam locomotive. At the Elgin County Railway Museum, history stands right behind you as you say your vows.

The museum is located in St. Thomas, a city shaped by the railway since the completion of the London and Port Stanley Railway in 1856. The museum celebrates the people, stories and legacy of Canada's railway industry.

Weddings and special events take place in the Rolling Stock Gallery, home to historic steam, diesel and electric engines, cabooses and railcars. The building has a historic and rustic workshop feel that sets a celebration apart from any ordinary hall.
