A courtyard garden, a historic pub and guest rooms just steps away give this Kingston venue a welcoming, intimate feel.
The Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre is on Union Street in Kingston, minutes from downtown and Queen's University. Its 80 guest rooms surround the historic Roselawn House, the Coach House Pub and a courtyard with gardens.
The centre is suited to small and medium weddings, with its main package designed for about 25 to 104 guests and a reception-style package for up to around 70.
Ceremonies can be held on site, indoors or out. The Courtyard can host up to approximately 70 guests for an outdoor ceremony, and the Piano Room and Crush Area can each seat around 70. The Boardroom can hold about 32 for a ceremony.
For receptions, Room B seats up to about 104 guests at round tables, while the John Deutsch Room and the Boardroom can each host around 42. The historic Coach House Pub and Patio holds up to approximately 80 for a reception, with a built-in bar and direct access to the courtyard.
That variety lets a couple move through the day, perhaps with vows in the courtyard, cocktails in the pub and dinner in another room.
The wedding package includes passed canapés, a three course dinner, dinner wine service and a late night station with cake cutting. A dedicated event coordinator provides on-site support, and couples receive a complimentary menu tasting.
Guests can stay on site, and the package includes a one night hotel stay for the couple. Complimentary surface parking is available on a first come, first served basis.
For couples who want an intimate celebration with ceremony, reception and accommodation all in one charming place, the Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre offers a relaxed Kingston wedding.
