Domaine de Maizerets

Domaine de Maizerets brings a historic château, a little chapel and 27 hectares of parkland together for a wedding right in the heart of Québec City.

Often called the Central Park of Québec, the estate has ties to the Séminaire de Québec and is cared for today by a community organization that has looked after the site since the 1980s. The grounds are divided into a historic core, a wooded area and an arboretum, with walking trails, a labyrinth and an observation tower.

Couples can choose from nine rooms spread across three buildings: the Maison Maizerets, the Chalet Lacroix and La Chapelle. Spaces range from the smallest meeting rooms to receptions for up to 120 guests.

La Chapelle, set in the wooded part of the estate, is a charming choice for a ceremony. Inside the château, period details give the rooms an elegant, timeless feel, and Salle 104 opens directly outdoors in summer, ideal for cocktails between the vows and dinner.

Couples are free to personalize every element of the day, inside and out, and the estate offers a bring your own wine formula. Parking is convenient and most buildings are wheelchair accessible.
