Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa Downtown gives a wedding the lively romance of celebrating in the heart of the capital, with the ByWard Market and downtown Ottawa waiting just beyond the doors. The hotel actively welcomes weddings and family celebrations in flexible event spaces supported by catering and an experienced hotel team.

Its Ballroom can seat up to 250 guests, giving couples enough room for a full reception while keeping overnight accommodation close for travelling family and friends. The central location also lets the wedding borrow the character of downtown Ottawa for photographs and the wider wedding weekend.

There is something lovely about a city hotel slowly filling with wedding guests. Family members appear in the lobby, flowers move through the hallways and the excitement seems to build with every elevator door that opens.

Then everyone gathers in the ballroom. The city continues outside, but inside there is only candlelight, speeches, music and one joyful celebration unfolding in the middle of Ottawa.
