At Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton West, a wedding day can drift from the ballroom out to the courtyard patio, where guests gather around the fire pit under the evening sky.

The hotel sits in Edmonton's west end, a refreshed property with an indoor pool, whirlpool and fitness centre for guests who arrive early or stay the weekend.

The hotel hosts every part of the celebration: bridal showers, rehearsals, the ceremony and the reception. Its six event rooms add up to more than 5,000 square feet, and the largest space holds up to 350 guests.

The outdoor courtyard patio, with its fire pit, is a relaxed spot for mingling between the ceremony and dinner.

An experienced events team guides couples through the planning, and the banquet rooms come with modern audio and visual equipment for speeches and music.

Aqua Bistro and Bar, the on-site restaurant, puts a modern spin on local favourites, and guests staying over can enjoy breakfast there in the morning. Parking on site is free.
