A wedding at Cornwall Golf & Country Club looks out over green fairways to the St. Lawrence River, with vows on a terrace by the final hole.

Founded in 1896, the club is one of the oldest in North America. Since 1926 it has made its home on former farmland along the river, where the water adds beauty to the course, and today it is known for mature trees and lush fairways.

The 18th Hole Patio, a multi-level terrace around the final green, can be reserved as a private outdoor ceremony spot when the weather cooperates.

Receptions take place in Table 19, the clubhouse dining room, where panoramic windows take in holes 1, 10 and 18 and the river beyond.

The head chef creates custom menus, and the events staff coordinate the day. The club is accessible and has ample parking.

For couples who picture river views, a terrace ceremony and dinner overlooking a historic course, Cornwall Golf & Country Club offers an elegant Seaway Valley wedding.
