Collectif MTL feels unmistakably Montréal.
Set inside a nineteenth-century industrial building in the Quartier des Spectacles, the venue surrounds weddings with old brick, exposed steel and the creative energy of downtown rather than the familiar look of a traditional ballroom.
Four different event rooms allow celebrations to take on very different personalities under the same roof.
The Carnegie Room is the largest, welcoming approximately 100 guests for a seated dinner or around 200 for a standing reception. Historic industrial character gives the space its texture, while professional sound, lighting and audiovisual equipment make it ready for speeches, music and a lively evening.
The Hook creates something smaller and more lounge-like, with room for approximately 80 standing guests and an atmosphere inspired by a New York loft.
Because the rooms are intentionally flexible, couples can bring their own personality into the architecture through flowers, lighting, furniture and cultural details rather than trying to disguise a heavily themed wedding room.
And outside, Montréal's Quartier des Spectacles becomes part of the evening. The city lights, theatres and energy along Sainte-Catherine give photographs and the wider wedding weekend an atmosphere that could only belong to downtown.
For couples drawn to brick, steel, music and the creative side of Montréal, Collectif MTL offers a wedding that feels urban, expressive and refreshingly different.
