Coachwood Golf & Country Club takes the familiar idea of a golf-course wedding and gives it a warmer, more contemporary personality.
Set in McGregor within Windsor-Essex County, the property pairs rolling golf-course scenery with a renovated event space styled around white finishes, exposed beams, brick and natural stone.
The Main Hall can accommodate celebrations of up to approximately 300 guests, giving couples room for a generous wedding without losing the intimacy created by its modern farmhouse character.
A vaulted ceiling rises above the room, while an exposed beam draws the eye toward a natural stone fireplace that creates a particularly beautiful backdrop behind a head table or focal point in the reception.
Beside the hall, the Sunroom brings an entirely different feeling to the day. Floor-to-ceiling windows look over the course and fill the room with natural light, becoming especially lovely when sunset begins to colour the sky.
Outside, terraces and fire-pit areas give guests somewhere to step away from the reception while remaining part of the celebration. Drinks beside a fire and evening conversations outdoors can become some of those unplanned moments people remember just as clearly as the formal parts of the day.
Food is prepared by Coachwood's own culinary team, led by a Red Seal Executive Chef, while a wedding coordinator works directly with couples through the planning process.
For couples who want the views and greenery of a golf-course wedding but are drawn to timber, stone, fireplaces and a softer modern farmhouse atmosphere, Coachwood offers a celebration that feels polished without becoming overly formal.
