At the Club de Golf du Lac Mégantic, a wedding comes with a backdrop of Lac Mégantic and the mountains of Maine rising beyond the fairways.

The club opened in 1965 and sits along the scenic Route des Sommets in the Eastern Townships. Its 18 hole course winds through beautifully wooded land dotted with ponds and several breathtaking lookouts.

The air conditioned reception room looks out over the course and welcomes up to 220 guests, making it a comfortable choice for larger family weddings.

Two outdoor terraces, each holding about 60 guests, are perfect for a cocktail hour in the fresh mountain air.

The club staff help couples with the details of their reception and are happy to explain the services on offer.

For couples who picture lake and mountain views with plenty of room for everyone they love, the Club de Golf du Lac Mégantic offers a wedding that feels open, scenic and easygoing.
