A wedding at Cedar Meadows Resort & Spa is wrapped in Northern Ontario forest, with the quiet of the woods only minutes from town.

The resort spreads over 175 acres in Timmins, about five minutes from downtown and ten from the airport, so guests travelling in have an easy arrival.

The main reception room, Salon Cartier, covers 2,400 square feet and hosts between 100 and 180 guests. Smaller salons suit rehearsal dinners and intimate gatherings, including Salon Marguerite Bourgeois for up to 32 and the hexagon shaped Salon Lower-Canada.

An event planning team helps couples shape the day, and wedding packages are available from the resort. The on-site dining room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Guests can stay right on the grounds in 49 rooms and suites or in cozy chalets with full kitchens and loft bedrooms. Several suites have fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs, a lovely place to end the night.
