Carstairs Community Hall

Some celebrations need room for everyone, from grandparents to the neighbours down the road. A community hall has always been a natural home for those kinds of weddings.

The Carstairs Community Hall is in Carstairs and is operated by the Town of Carstairs. It opened in the early 1990s and is used by organizations in and around the community.

The hall has seating for 540 people, or 350 for dining, giving couples room for a large guest list and a full dinner.

A complete sound system and kitchen facilities are part of the building, making it well suited to receptions and banquets.

The Town lists weddings among the events the hall is suited to, along with mini-conventions, fundraisers, craft shows, community events and banquets.

Bookings are handled by the Town of Carstairs Community Services Department.

For couples planning a large, community-centred celebration, the Carstairs Community Hall offers the space and practical facilities to bring everyone together.
