At Cardinal Golf Club and RedCrest, a wedding can begin outdoors under open skies and carry on into an evening of dinner, toasts and dancing with the greens all around.
The two clubs belong to a golf complex in King, Ontario, just north of Toronto and close to Newmarket and Aurora. The grounds are a mix of greenery, water and wide open space, and golf course scenery can be part of the wedding photos, timed around play.
Each club has its own outdoor ceremony setting, and couples can hold both the ceremony and the reception on site. The events team helps plan an indoor or covered alternative in case the weather turns.
At Cardinal Golf Club, the North Hall hosts receptions of 150 to 170 guests and ceremonies of up to 150, while the Executive Lounge suits smaller weddings of 80 to 90. Couples who have celebrated there remember lit fireplaces in the lounges and windows looking out over the course.
At RedCrest Golf Club, a seasonal Marquee Tent welcomes receptions of 150 to 170 guests. In winter, the RedCrest Clubhouse takes over, with room for 100 to 120 at a reception.
Food is handled by the in-house team, with cocktail receptions, plated dinners and bar service. Menus can be customized and dietary needs accommodated, and one events team guides the day from the first look to the last dance.
Guests can reach the clubs easily from King City, Vaughan, Barrie and across the GTA.
For couples who picture an outdoor ceremony on the greens followed by a lively reception close to home, Cardinal Golf Club and RedCrest offer a wedding that balances open country scenery with the ease of an all-in-one venue.
We never use a venue’s photos without permission.
