Canada Agriculture and Food Museum

The museum sits at the heart of the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa, and its wedding spaces range from rustic historic barns to a modern hall, all on one working farm site.

The Meadow is the outdoor ceremony spot, a grassy space right next to the heritage Meadowview Barn. It seats 150 guests for a ceremony and can welcome up to 500 for a cocktail gathering when the weather cooperates.

Meadowview Barn is a three-storey red barn with square white windows. Inside, rows of large blown-glass windows look out over the green lawn, and the barn seats 130 for dinner or 150 for cocktails. It is available all year.

The Cereal Barn is a well-loved landmark on the farm, with unfinished wood floors, high ceilings, exposed beams and lots of natural light. It seats 130 for dinner or 150 standing, and it opens for events from May to October.

Maple Hall is a second-storey, loft-style room with half-moon windows framing views of the farm. Dark metal beams and warm wood tones give it an industrial barn feel, and it suits smaller receptions of 40 to 80 guests year-round.

Each space comes with tables, chairs, sound and microphones, and the museum keeps a list of trusted partners to help with the rest of the day.
