Light pours through a soaring arched window and across warm brick walls. At Beach United Church, the Main Hall feels bright and open, a space that can become whatever a couple imagines.
Located in Toronto's Beaches neighbourhood, Beach United is a versatile venue for weddings, receptions, performances, meetings and community events.
The church is available to rent for both wedding ceremonies and receptions. Its light-filled Main Hall blends historic architecture with modern amenities and has a flexible layout that can be styled for an intimate gathering or a larger celebration.
The Main Hall is known for excellent acoustics and includes a sophisticated AV system, a Yamaha grand piano and a Guilbault-Therien pipe organ, which could make live music a beautiful part of the day.
The building also includes a commercial kitchen and multiple meeting rooms, giving space for the practical pieces that surround a wedding.
Beach United welcomes couples of all backgrounds, identities and beliefs, and hosts weddings for couples of all genders, sexual orientations, and spiritual or non-spiritual traditions. Ceremonies can be shaped with each couple to reflect their story, culture and traditions, and the team can recommend experienced officiants and vendors familiar with the space.
Rental revenue also helps support community programs, including refugee sponsorship, outreach to people experiencing homelessness, food bank collections and free community concerts.
For couples who want a warm, inclusive and light-filled place to marry in the Beaches, Beach United Church offers a beautiful hall with heart and purpose.
