Auberge Baker welcomes weddings in an ancestral country house from 1840, with decades of celebrations already woven into its story.

The house on the Côte-de-Beaupré was built by Ferdinand Lefrançois and Mary Ann Brady. Alvin A. Baker opened it as an inn in 1935, and it has been hosting groups for more than seventy-five years. The current owner has run it since 1975.

Receptions take place in a large, fully windowed room of about 1,600 square feet with a terrace next door. Together with the dining room, the restaurant seats 200 guests.

The chef cooks flavourful Québec cuisine with local ingredients, with reception menus, a children's menu and appetizer suggestions to choose from.

The inn keeps five guest rooms decorated with antique furniture, handy for the couple or close family. Screens, a wireless microphone, a lectern, a cloakroom and plenty of free parking are also available.

For couples who picture a country inn with history and a hearty Québec feast, Auberge Baker offers a wedding full of old-fashioned warmth.
