At 147 Ristorante, a wedding celebration comes with a view of Lake Simcoe and the lights of downtown Barrie.

The restaurant sits in the centre of Barrie's downtown core, looking out over the city's waterfront. Its private events side, called Nxt Dor, hosts weddings as well as bridal showers and other family milestones, and it was named Top Chef Barrie in 2025.

Celebrations take place in intimate private dining rooms, and the team shapes each one around the couple, with a choice of event packages and food and drink menus. Extras such as room decor, upgraded table settings and balloon displays can be arranged on request.

The team behind the restaurant brings more than two decades of hospitality experience, along with a love of baking that shows up in the desserts. Private functions can be booked any day of the week.

For couples who picture an intimate dinner with lake views in the middle of downtown, 147 Ristorante offers a wedding celebration that feels personal and relaxed.
