Carved out of the deep woods of the Ganaraska Forest and the foothills of the Oak Ridges Moraine, Black Diamond Golf Club gives a wedding the kind of natural backdrop that cannot be staged.
Located near the gateway to the Kawarthas and easily reached from Highways 115 and 407, the club pairs a course of tree-lined rolling fairways with a clubhouse built for celebrations.
Couples exchange vows at the outdoor ceremony space overlooking the 18th green, a setting with a natural backdrop and a flexible setup. From there, guests move easily into the reception without ever leaving the property.
The large, bright banquet room can accommodate up to approximately 180 seated guests and opens onto an attached stone patio, a natural spot for cocktails and fresh air between dinner and dancing.
The property sits within the Oak Ridges Moraine, where undisturbed nature provides beautiful backdrops for photographs throughout the day.
Food comes from the club's own kitchen, led by the Executive Chef, with customizable menus and a full-service bar. The clubhouse is fully licensed and offers panoramic views.
Planning is guided by the club's Director of Food and Beverage and Events Coordinator, who helps couples create and customize every part of the event. The club also shares a list of preferred vendors and its wedding packages to help couples get started.
