Right where George Street meets Water Street, YellowBelly gives couples the chance to celebrate inside a genuine piece of old St. John's.

The historic stone building is filled with original character, from exposed brick and wide plank floors to fireplaces and centuries of stories tucked into its walls.

Weddings can take over the upper-level Public House, where two floors and a balcony create a warm, atmospheric setting for dinner and dancing. It can welcome up to 150 guests for a seated celebration or 200 for cocktails.

For something smaller, there are intimate spaces throughout the building, including the underground UnderBelly with its old stone walls and speakeasy atmosphere.

Food is prepared in house, and even the craft beer is brewed right here, giving couples the chance to bring a little taste of Newfoundland into the celebration.

Then step outside and you are already in the heart of downtown St. John's, with colourful streets, the harbour and some of the city's best-known corners waiting for wedding photographs.
