Wisteria Guest House gives a Salt Spring Island micro wedding the feeling of gathering inside a garden retreat rather than a traditional venue.

In Ganges, the family-run guest house sits among lush gardens only a short walk from the village centre.

Its Drawing Room was purpose-built for events and is specifically available for micro weddings and elopements.

The space keeps things intentionally small.

Up to around 30 people can gather for an event, or about 20 for a seated meal.

That changes the celebration completely.

Every person is close.

Every toast can be heard.

And the wedding never has to work hard to feel intimate.

The Drawing Room opens onto an outdoor patio, while eleven-foot ceilings and natural light keep the room feeling bright despite the smaller guest list.

Then the rest of the guest house becomes part of the stay.

Rooms, studio suites and a cottage allow guests to settle into Salt Spring rather than rush away.
