Windgate Weddings is the sort of Annapolis Valley venue that makes a barn wedding feel like a true destination rather than a theme. The family-owned century-old timeless heritage barn has been carefully restored, preserving its original character while creating more than 5,000 square feet of covered celebration space.

Wedding rentals include three days of access and can accommodate up to 150 guests. the charming barn offers flexible layouts and an indoor ceremony backup, while the surrounding countryside creates endless places for photographs. Because it is a true unheated and uncooled barn, the wedding season runs from June through the end of October.

That seasonal rhythm is part of the charm. Summer brings long evenings and sweeping, peaceful countryside, while autumn turns the Annapolis Valley into something richer and moodier.

Couples have time to settle in, decorate without panic and let the wedding belong to the property for several days. Then the old barn fills with people, lights and music, adding one more celebration to a building that has already stood for a century.
