Westwood Estates gives an Alberta wedding the warmth of a family-built venue surrounded by open countryside.

Just west of Ponoka, the year-round venue was founded and is operated by three sisters, bringing a personal sense of care into a space created specifically for weddings and celebrations.

The setting is modern, but the countryside remains part of the experience.

Couples have exclusive use of the venue and its outdoor grounds, with room for up to around 200 guests.

There are dedicated getting-ready spaces for both sides of the wedding party, along with tables, chairs, ceremony arches, parking and bar service.

That lets the day move without constantly leaving the property.

Everyone arrives.

The ceremony happens.

Photographs wander through the grounds.

Then the room fills for dinner.

Because the venue is heated and air-conditioned, the season does not have to decide whether the wedding works.
