West Pond Woods

West Pond Woods was created for couples who believe a small wedding can feel enormous in all the ways that matter. Only about twenty minutes from Winnipeg's north perimeter, the 1.6-acre St. Andrews property is filled with mature forest, romantic gardens, walking trails, a rock-wall waterfall, a pond and a fireside area.

The venue specializes in micro-weddings, elopements and intimate celebrations. Couples can choose a half-day outdoor ceremony or a fuller wedding package with access to the picturesque grounds and a tented reception. Marriage commissioning, photography, setup and teardown can also be added, while an open-vendor policy leaves room for personal choices.

There is something deeply romantic about a guest list small enough that every person feels part of the ceremony rather than part of a crowd. Here, vows happen close to the trees and water, photographs wander through the property and the celebration stays focused on connection. It is not a smaller version of a big wedding. It is a different kind of beautiful altogether.
