Vignoble Kobloth feels like a small wedding folded into a family's long love affair with wine, on a hundred quiet acres that sit only twenty minutes from downtown Montreal.

Thierry Kobloth was born in Alsace in 1970 into a family of winemakers, cooked in hotels in Switzerland and the south of France, and in 2004 sold his restaurant to return to the vines. His partner Roxane joined in 2006, the first harvest came in 2007, and today their daughter Caroline runs events and the beer side while their son Victor studies cooking. The estate on Grand Boulevard Ouest in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville now holds 16,000 vines, a microbrewery, a micro-distillery and a bistro wine bar.

Weddings here are intentionally intimate, with a maximum of 45 guests. The ceremony can take place at the gazebo, and the reception unfolds on a private terrace or in a private room depending on the weather; the property counts two covered terraces and two reception rooms. The kitchen serves a four-course meal, with an option that opens on a welcome cocktail and a menu for children. A sound system is on site for the couple's own playlist, and the day can begin with decorating at nine in the morning and run until eleven at night.
