Verdant Weddings and Events gives a Tweed wedding the extraordinary feeling of celebrating inside a garden no matter what the weather is doing outside. Set in quiet Eastern Ontario countryside and bordered by forest, the family-run venue centres on an 8,000-square-foot climate-controlled greenhouse filled with plant life and a cascading waterfall.

Couples can choose between indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, with the greenhouse welcoming celebrations of up to 200 guests. The surrounding mixed forest and rural landscape create even more natural backdrops beyond the glass.

There is something almost magical about walking into a greenhouse in wedding clothes. Greenery surrounds the tables, water moves gently nearby and the room feels alive before a single flower arrangement is added.

Then evening falls beyond the glass, the forest disappears into darkness and the greenhouse begins to glow from within. Nature remains wrapped around the celebration while dinner, laughter and dancing fill the night.
