Trout Point Lodge

Trout Point Lodge turns a wedding into a true wilderness escape. Hidden within 100 acres of pristine Nova Scotia forest in the UNESCO Southwest Nova Scotia Biosphere, the lodge specializes in intimate destination weddings where luxury and the outdoors are allowed to exist side by side.

Its wedding experiences are deliberately small, with curated packages and full lodge buyouts designed for roughly 26 to 31 guests. Couples can choose among ceremony locations around the property, while a full buyout can include several nights at the lodge, meals, a cocktail reception and wedding support. Guided experiences such as stargazing, forest bathing, hiking and paddling can become part of the time guests spend together.

The romance here is not about filling a giant room. It is about gathering the people who matter most somewhere they would never forget travelling to.

the enchanting forest, river and night sky do much of the decorating. The wedding simply gives everyone a reason to experience them together, leaving the kind of warm, romantic memory that feels almost storybook long after the last dance.
