At Tigh-Na-Mara, the wedding day can begin beneath towering fir and arbutus trees and end with the Salish Sea just beyond the celebration. The Parksville resort sits on 22 acres beside Rathtrevor Beach, bringing forest, shoreline and resort comforts together in one place for weddings throughout the year.

The seaside gazebo is the ceremony setting couples are likely to remember first. Surrounded by manicured romantic gardens and overlooking the beach and water, it can accommodate up to 200 guests. For receptions, the resort offers several banquet rooms for gatherings from approximately 15 to 200 people, with more than 10,000 square feet of event space across the property.

Tigh-Na-Mara also makes it possible for the wedding to become a stay rather than a single evening. The resort has 192 individual-entry guest rooms and cottages, two restaurants and the Grotto Spa, giving travelling family and friends somewhere to settle in around the celebration. Reception packages can bring together the room, staffing, linens, decor, dinner, late-night food, dance floor and bar, while the wedding team helps coordinate the details.
