The Woodview Inn feels less like arriving at a wedding venue and more like being invited into a beautiful old home.

Built in the 1870s in Gananoque, the Victorian mansion is surrounded by gardens and filled with the kind of character that makes an intimate celebration feel immediately special.

Weddings here are deliberately small.

The dining room can welcome approximately 30 guests for a seated celebration, while cocktail-style receptions can gather around 50.

That intimacy is part of its charm.

The ceremony can happen on the property.

Then drinks move into the garden while the newlyweds wander beneath the trees and among the flowers for photographs.

Later, everyone comes together for dinner at Graydon's.

There is no enormous ballroom to disappear into.

Every table feels close.

Every person in the room is someone the couple truly wanted there.

Guest rooms at the inn allow the celebration to linger too.
