The Wilds Resort at Salmonier River makes a wedding feel like everyone has escaped together. The year-round event centre and seasonal resort sits among the peaks, valleys and river landscape of Salmonier, with weddings supported from the early planning stages right through to a farewell brunch.

Its 3,200-square-foot Wedding Pavilion seats up to 200 guests and includes a private bar, banquet kitchen, built-in sound system, private patio and panoramic views of the Salmonier River. An outdoor event centre offers covered ceremony space with fixed seating for 160, while 39 hotel rooms, 15 villas and seven cottages give guests plenty of ways to stay on the property.

The resort also offers wedding coordination and menu options, with a complimentary bridal suite included in wedding packages.

The real luxury is having nowhere else to be. Vows, photographs, dinner and overnight stays can all belong to the same landscape. When the last song ends, the gently moving river is still outside and the people you love are still close enough to meet again for breakfast, leaving the kind of warm, romantic memory that feels almost storybook long after the last dance.
