The Whitewood Barn

The Whitewood Barn feels like someone found a quiet pocket of Alberta countryside and decided weddings should have it.

Near Millet, acres of spruce trees surround a rustic white barn, outdoor gathering spaces and a secluded ceremony setting tucked away from the everyday world.

It is the kind of place where the wedding begins before the guests ever see the reception.

The ceremony has its own private corner of the property, allowing everyone to gather among the trees while the rest of the celebration waits somewhere beyond them.

The couple has somewhere private too.

A dedicated bridal suite inside the house gives the wedding party a place to get ready, watch the clock move far too quickly and have those last few minutes together before somebody finally says it is time.

Then the doors open.

The aisle begins.

Afterwards, the barn takes over.
