The Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites has watched Halifax weddings unfold since 1928, and there is something wonderfully fitting about adding a new love story to a hotel with nearly a century of celebrations behind it.

Overlooking the Halifax Public romantic gardens, the hotel combines timeless historic character with ballrooms that can accommodate weddings of up to 300 guests. Its events team supports couples with room layouts, timelines, menus and guest accommodation, while in-house catering keeps the reception closely connected to the venue.
