The Laurel Packinghouse

Some buildings arrive at a wedding already carrying stories of their own. The Laurel Packinghouse has been part of Kelowna since 1917, and its original fir floors, wooden beams and heritage character give a celebration the warmth that cannot be manufactured in a newly built ballroom. The building also sits alongside Laurel Square, which can be added to a rental, while the museum setting gives the entire celebration a connection to Kelowna's orchard and wine history.

There is something lovely about beginning a new family story inside a place that has already watched a city change around it for more than a century. Guests step through the doors into old timber and warm character, the room slowly becomes yours, and by the end of the night another memory has been added to the building.
