The Globe and Mail Centre feels like a wedding lifted above the city, with Toronto spread out beyond the glass and the lake catching the last of the light as the first dance begins.

The venue occupies the top floors of the headquarters of the Globe and Mail in the King East Design District, and its rooms are wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows with skyline views in every direction. An expansive terrace runs alongside, set with lounge seating and fire pits, so the cocktail hour can happen in open air with the city and lake as company.

Couples can hold the ceremony on site, then carry straight through to the reception, the dinner and the dancing without moving guests across town. The space is deliberately minimal, a blank canvas with luxury finishes, and the furniture provided, from ceremony and dining chairs to cruiser tables, benches and low coffee tables, can be arranged or removed entirely to suit the couple's own vision. Weddings here welcome up to 300 guests.
