The Glencoe Golf & Country Club gives couples one of those Alberta wedding settings where the landscape does something no amount of décor ever could.

Its outdoor ceremony space looks toward the Rocky Mountains with the golf course stretching through the foreground, creating a beautiful, naturally romantic place to exchange vows. Afterwards, guests can move toward the clubhouse for cocktails and celebration without leaving the scenery behind.

The Mountain View Room is the largest wedding space at just over 3,000 square feet, with high ceilings, broad windows and a neutral interior that lets the couple's own style come forward. It seats up to 150 guests and opens onto a generous southwest-facing patio, a lovely place for cocktails, fresh air and those lingering conversations before dinner. The smaller Spruce View Room can add flexibility as an indoor ceremony backup, lounge or another cosy part of the celebration.

The club's culinary team prepares the wedding meal in house, while event staff help couples bring together the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.

There is a quiet elegance to having the mountains present throughout the day. They appear behind the vows, through the windows and in the photographs, giving even an intimate wedding a sense of occasion.
