The Gananoque Inn & Spa gives a Thousand Islands wedding the romance of the St. Lawrence River without asking guests to leave the celebration behind when evening comes. Set directly beside the water, the historic inn offers couples a place for ceremonies, receptions, dining and overnight stays in one destination.

Summer vows can take place on the lawn beside the gently moving river, while winter weddings bring a completely different kind of intimacy to the inn. A full-time wedding coordinator and culinary team support the day, and guest rooms mean family and friends can settle into Gananoque rather than simply arriving for dinner and leaving again.

There is something wonderfully romantic about saying your vows while the St. Lawrence moves quietly beside you. the gently moving river becomes part of the photographs, the view and the memory of the day without needing anything added to it.

Then everyone moves inside, dinner begins and the waterfront slowly disappears into evening while the celebration carries on.
