The Forrester Centre

The Forrester Centre offers a Cape Breton wedding with a personality all its own. The heritage venue has been shaped around intimate weddings and celebrations, pairing distinctive ceremony spaces with the family's background in florals, catering, dance and event experiences.

Couples can currently reserve a ceremony experience with exclusive access to three very different settings: the upper-level Kastle Ceremony Space, the historic lower-level Krypt and the estate grounds. The team prepares and styles the venue, handles setup and teardown and welcomes the couple's chosen officiant, photographer, florist, musician and other vendors.

There is something wonderfully theatrical about having several spaces to move through, each with a different mood. The building does not ask the wedding to look like everyone else's.

Instead, it gives couples an hour in a heritage venue that can feel intimate, character-filled and completely intentional. Short does not have to mean ordinary here. It can mean every minute matters, leaving the kind of warm, romantic memory that feels almost storybook long after the last dance.
