The Biltmore Theatre

The Biltmore Theatre gives an Oshawa wedding the irresistible drama of getting married inside a beautifully revived 1940s theatre. Originally opened in 1941 and renovated before reopening in 2021, the historic venue now welcomes weddings and special events alongside its live performances.

The theatre offers a stage, mezzanine and flexible main-floor arrangements, allowing the room to shift from ceremony seating into cocktails, dinner and celebration. Its performance history gives the setting a sense of occasion that a conventional event hall simply cannot imitate.

There is something wonderfully romantic about walking down an aisle in a theatre where generations have sat waiting for the curtain to rise. On a wedding day, the anticipation belongs to a completely different kind of entrance.

Then the ceremony changes scenes. Glasses are raised, lights shift and music fills the old theatre as the stage becomes part of a new story, one written for just two people.
