The Barn at Windy Lane

Twenty minutes outside Thunder Bay, down a country road in Murillo, a 1940 barn on a family farm has become a beautiful place to begin a marriage.

The Barn at Windy Lane keeps the things people love about an old country barn, from exposed timber to wide doors opening toward the farm, while adding the comforts needed for a proper celebration.

Up to 120 guests can gather inside, with room for a tent if the celebration grows. Couples can hold both the ceremony and reception on the property, then wander the farm for photographs while the countryside does most of the decorating.

Wedding weekends include exclusive access from Friday evening until Sunday at noon, turning one important day into a little more time together.

There is even a Fry Shack serving hand-cut fries for the late-night crowd.

Rustic, relaxed and full of Northern Ontario character, The Barn at Windy Lane feels exactly like what a farm wedding should be.
