Tangled Garden feels less like entering a venue and more like wandering into a secret corner of the Annapolis Valley. In Grand Pré, its fragrant romantic gardens, grassy hills and wildflower labyrinth look toward the Minas Basin, creating a setting made for couples who want the ceremony to feel intimate and a little enchanted.

The garden currently specializes in small weddings, elopements and vow renewals. Couples can exchange vows near the seven-circuit Celtic wildflower labyrinth while guests explore the picturesque grounds, with wedding experiences designed around smaller gatherings rather than trying to turn the property into a conventional large reception venue.

That scale suits the place beautifully. Lavender, roses, sculpture, winding paths and unexpected garden details become part of the day without needing to be arranged for the wedding.

It feels wonderfully storybook, but it is real: a garden in Grand Pré, a view toward the Fundy shore and a small group of people gathered close enough to hear every word of the vows.
