St. Ann's Academy feels as though the wedding has stepped into another century.

Set in the heart of Victoria, the National Historic Site begins with an oak-lined drive leading toward the grand staircase and the beautiful 1858 chapel beyond. Inside, stained glass, graceful arches and gilded details create a ceremony setting filled with warmth and history. The interfaith chapel welcomes up to approximately 150 guests.

Couples who dream about an outdoor ceremony can choose the secluded Novitiate Garden instead, surrounded by flowers, greenery and a gazebo.

Then the vows are finished.

Guests spill into the gardens while the newlyweds wander through the grounds for photographs beside the historic building, staircase and formal drive.

For a little while, old Victoria becomes the backdrop to a completely new story.

Larger outdoor celebrations can also unfold across Academy Green, giving couples room to bring dinner and gathering into the landscape.
