Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery gives an Essex County wedding something wonderfully rare: lush vines, romantic gardens and Lake Erie all meeting at Ontario's only beachfront winery. Set across 52 acres near Amherstburg, the property is made for couples who want wine-country romance with water at the edge of the story.

Wedding ceremonies and receptions can both take place on site. The indoor hall among the lush vines accommodates roughly 50 to 250 guests, while the lakeview patio, picturesque vineyard and romantic gardens create a natural progression from vows to cocktails and photographs. The winery also has its own wedding specialists, culinary team and beverage program.

There is something beautifully effortless about raising a glass of wine made where everyone has gathered. The lush vines belong to the landscape, the serene lake stretches beyond them and the entire celebration feels rooted in one place.

By sunset, Lake Erie changes colour behind the wedding and the reception begins to glow among the lush vines. It is wine country, waterfront and love story all at once.
