Springwood Cottage Resort turns a wedding into the cottage weekend everyone wishes could last longer. Set beneath tall pines on Kennebec Lake near Arden, the year-round resort offers full-property wedding experiences built for couples who would rather spend several days with their people than squeeze everything into one evening.

The elite wedding package can accommodate up to 120 guests and includes exclusive use of the resort for a two-night-or-longer stay. All 17 cottages, the sandy beach, marina, covered leisure deck and 40-by-40-foot event tent become part of the celebration. Couples can hold the ceremony and reception on the private beach, deck or beneath the tent.

There is something wonderfully romantic about waking up at the serene lake on your wedding morning and knowing everyone you love is already there.

Vows happen beside the water, dinner overlooks the marina and the night ends without anybody needing to drive away. The next morning, the wedding is over, but the cottage weekend still has a little story left to tell.
