Somewhere Inn Calabogie turns a wedding into a complete private weekend overlooking Calabogie Lake. Couples take over the entire three-acre property, with all eleven rooms reserved for their group and no other hotel guests checking in around the celebration.

The inn can welcome up to 130 people for the wedding itself, with overnight accommodation for 34. Vows happen on the lawn with Calabogie Lake and the Ottawa Valley hills beyond, then dinner and dancing move beneath event tents among towering mature trees. A getting-ready suite, wine bar and nightly bonfires add to the weekend.

There is something wonderfully intimate about knowing the hotel belongs only to your people. Friends wake a few doors away, everyone gathers on the same lawn and nobody has to leave the little world the wedding has created.

Then the string lights come on, the bonfire is lit and the night ends exactly where the weekend began: together by the serene lake, leaving the kind of warm, romantic memory that feels almost storybook long after the last dance.
